Hey, we're the creators of this site, so we kind of know our way around it, and don't have many questions to ask ourselves. But we are working on putting together some direction for you and if you have a question please ask it, so it can become another FAQ!

Student FAQs

Q: What do I do if my school isn't on the website?
Go to the home page and there is a bubble where you can submit your school email address.
Q: How do I list my room for availability?
Once you review a rental, click the 'Your Reviews' tab when you are logged in. There is a 'List room availability' button for each rental you've reviewed. And you're done. Then when the room gets filled because of this awesome feature, you can go back and click 'Unlist room availability'.
Q: What happens when I list the room as available?
Other students will see that you flagged the rental this way and they will send a message to your inbox if they are interested. And, then you will be able to find a room mate so you don't have to pay extra for those empty rooms in your rental!

Landlord FAQs

Q: How do I add my rental?
Ask the students who are renting or have rented your rental to register and review the rental on our site. We will then contact the property owner via snail mail with a confirmation code with which to register on the site.
Q: How do you know where to send the confirmation number?
We get the name and address of the property owner from public records.
Q: Why do you do use snail mail?
It's the best way we can get you the confirmation number and know that you're you.
Q: What if the student entered incorrect information about the rental, like rent or whether or not utilities are included?
As the landlord you can note these discrepancies on your home page and then the public will see "what the landlord said" & "what the student said". Data integrity is one of our key values - what good is information if it is wrong?
