DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE. It just isn't worth it. It is grungy and small with too few bathrooms and small bedrooms. It is constantly cold in the winter and hot in the summer with bad insulation and circulation. The landlord does not communicate things to students, then basically rips them off. You could find twenty other houses that are about the same distance from school with a security system, air conditioning, a higher allowance for utility bills, and a landlord who takes care of the place.

The landlord never communicated with the students until the following term, citing $30/hour "cleaning fee" via mail for one of the reasons our security deposit was not returned in full. We each paid $250 at the beginning of the year and we were unable to rent by the term. You have to sign a year contract with Scott Warmbier. It only takes about a month to realize why he forces you into a long contract. Anyone who knew better would get out as soon as they could. There was a closet door that was broken on the first floor before we ever showed up. At the end of the year, we were charged $50 for it and some ambiguous line item of "clean up/repairs" for $90. After adhering strictly to the lease, Mr. Warmbier proved nearly impossible to find. All students vacated the premises by March 30, 2011. Today is July 27, 2011 and I just got $77.17 of my security deposit back after weeks of trying to contact Scott. Even with the math he uses and the ridiculous charges, the total that he kept from each of us was subtracted from $200 when we paid $250. Of course I've tried calling him all day to no avail.

Look somewhere else kids. It just isn't worth it to work with Scott Warmbier.

While the house has six bedrooms, two are in the basement. In the summer without central air, the basement was where it was the place to be, but the lack of natural light bothered me in the winter.

The two garage was fantastic, but welders would cause the lights to dim in the house.

Great house not the newest home around the area but is great for any student. Well furnished relatively clean, a great home for parties if your into that sort of thing. Landlord is very nice and very responsive to any problems or concerns a renter might have. Location is very close to campus right across from the soccer fields.
