So much better than our last landlord!! We've lived here since summer 07, and have had no issues that haven't been taken care of. There used to be an issue with the upstairs shower, but it's been fixed. (Why is there water getting outside of the shower anyways?) The downstairs (front) bedroom was leaking because of all the snow melting, but he fixed that, and there’s no problem so far. If you have legitimate need, talk to him, he’ll provide it right away if he’s got it, if not, he’ll get it. He is very reasonable about things. He even has another person fix things when he can't make it.

It isn’t the nicest house, but come on, it’s Flint and the landlord is renting it out to college students. It’s nice that he isn’t making you pay for every new scratch. Yes, you need to bring your own vacuum (stated in the lease), and clean the house while you are here and before you move out, but that’s with any rental. He provides more furniture/appliances than most places.

It states in the lease no pets, but I talked to him and he allowed me to bring my two pet rats. I'm guessing because they are small, in a cage, and clean...but its just another example of how he'll work with you on things.

The location, price, and landlord are great! He even offers a 3 month lease. Our rent is $850 for six people, but the more people you have renting the place, the cheaper the rent. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The landlord is good to work with, but the house is an overall uncleanable dump! Our group has been in for 4 terms now and he has worked with us on what we wanted for the house, including remodeling the down stairs shower, and puting numerical key locks on the doors.
The Carpet is the worst part of the house. He does not provide a vacuume. You have to have 7 people on the house for the rent to be $780, the less people you have the more it is. If you get water outside the upstairs shower, the kitchen ceiling drips right by a light fixture. Before signing the lease get in writing things agreed to be changed by the landlord, and remember he is fighting to get groups into this house, he may do anything to get you in.

The best thing about the house is the location. You can wake up 5 min. before class and still make it in time, and it is CHEAP.
