Gary & Lori are great landlords - they were willing to work with my situation since the apts got rid of their pet policy, and let me live in the house on short notice.
The house is a typical KU house - not exactly what I want to be living in when I graduate, but it's good for the short term.
Even with Central AC, the upstairs can sometimes get hot, and the fan in the bathroom doesn't really remove much humidity during the shower - we frequently left it running almost all day just so the upstairs didn't feel so humid.
The driveway is a little difficult to manuever, & I'm not sure how 5 cars ever really fit into it without blocking someone in, but we only had 3 people in the house so it wasn't an issue.
I'd def recommend the house & landlords - as long as you can fill the house!!

The landlords are nice people and very responsive, but tend to subscribe to the "good enough for college kids" mentality. There are two sardine can rooms in the basement that are tiny and have low ceilings. The construction is a little shoddy. This is really inconvenient since we get charged extra if the house isn't full.
I like the place, it has central air, which is nice. It has a monitored ADT security system, it has a dishwasher, and the upstairs rooms are good sized. Good size living room and dining room, and a front porch. Parking is great, and there is a garage. It's a short walk to school, but you don't have to look out the window and see that big brick reminder of hell.
Some things I'm not a fan of are the water pressure. The water is fine for doing just one thing at a time, like shower, or run the dishwasher, turn on a faucet, or flush a toilet. But if any of these things happen at the same time, there is no pressure. It's annoying with five people living in a house. Also, the stove in the kitchen works, but sucks, don't try to cook anything well, its too hot or not hot enough, never right. The counter space is nonexistent. And one more thing, that I've actually gotten used to in the upstairs bathroom is the toilet is right up against the wall.
Don't get me wrong though, it's not that bad. I would recommend this house. All in all everything that's bad is pretty insignificant for a three month stint.

We appreciate the comments about our house and have recently taken measures to improve upon some of its features.
The Water pressure has been remedied by removing all galvanized 1/2” plumbing pipes and installing 3/4” non-corrosive water pipes in their place. The water pressure has significantly improved, and is back to normal.
We have also installed a new pull-out sprayer kitchen faucet in order to bring it's water pressure back to normal.
Please don't assume that we are aware of any problems. We rely on your verbal comments since you live in this house and we don't. If you don't mention any defects in our homes, we cant fix them since they have not been brought to our attention.

G&L Properties promptly fixed the above mentioned problems. There is a new stove that works great, and the water pressure is awesome! Thank you.

Great place to live. Well worth the money.
Landlords will bend over backwards to help out and make you comfortable.

Older house but well kept, very generous utilities allowance included in rent, plenty of parking in the back yard (well lit), 2 car garage!, AC & new dishwasher, each room has it's own deadbolt w/separate key, security system, fully furnished even includes dishes

The owners are amazing and the best landlords you will ever find. The houses are in top condition too. I had Gary and Lori for three terms, and they made my home-away-from-home experience amazing. Thank you!
